Ethan Nwaneri played a key role off the bench for Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday as the youngster helped the side to a 3-2 win against Villarreal in the Champions League.
The 19-year-old attacker has joined the German giants on loan from Arsenal as he seeks more game time.
After helping Dortmund beat Hoffenheim 3-2 in the Bundesliga on the weekend, he was given the nod to come on after just 27 minutes on Tuesday after Konstantinos Karetsas picked up an injury.
However, Nwaneri did not disappoint and was quick to make a big impact before he was taken off with eight minutes to go.
Many of the attacking midfielder’s stats were simply outstanding, and he was perhaps unlucky not to have scored.
As a result, it is clear that Arsenal have a player on their hands if his development continues going in this direction.

Nwaneri no doubt had a great performance against Villarreal.
According to Fotmob on 9 September, the youngster had the most shots in the game at six, completed the most dribbles in the game at three, had a 0.33 xG, had four touches in the opposition box, completed 91 per cent of his passes and won three out of his seven ground duels.
Considering this came in a Champions League match against a tough opponent, it is a fantastic showing.
Therefore, every sign is pointing towards Nwaneri being a star for Arsenal in the near future as he continues to impress at the highest level.
How long is Nwaneri at Borussia Dortmund?
Nwaneri has only joined Dortmund on a season-long loan and is currently expected to return to Arsenal next summer.
Obviously, this situation could change in the coming months, and Arsenal could elect to recall him in the winter window depending on how he has done.
Likewise, Dortmund could look to try and extend the loan for another season if they believe he still has a part to play in the team.
