Sources: Premier League club join race to sign Noni Madueke after Arsenal exit verdict
Madueke has only started one of Arsenal's last six competitive games, scoring in their 4-2 win at Ipswich on Tuesday.
The 24-year-old impressed in his first season at the Emirates Stadium to earn a place in England's World Cup squad over some serious attacking competition.
He looks to have fallen down the pecking order in Mikel Arteta's squad at the start of this campaign, leading to rumours around his future at the club.
As I revealed on the latest edition of Football Insider's Transfer Insider podcast, several Premier League sides will look to sign Madueke if Arsenal make him available in January.
He is competing with several top players for places in the Gunners' starting eleven each week, while Max Dowman is further emerging as a first-team option out wide for Arteta.
Noni Madueke on radar of other clubs amid Arsenal struggles
Madueke has been handed just 23 minutes of game time off the bench across Arsenal's first four league games of the campaign.
He has missed out on the latest England squad for their upcoming Nations League fixtures as a result of his struggle for minutes.
The 24-year-old has displayed his quality in the Premier League over the last few seasons, however, and will attract serious interest from fellow top flight clubs if they are open to letting him leave midway through the campaign.
Speaking on the Transfer Insider podcast, I explained: "If Arsenal open the door for Noni Madueke to potentially leave in January, I'm sure there'll be lot of clubs interested. There'll be Premier League clubs interested."
Arsenal keen on Rio Ngumoha despite Liverpool's transfer stance
Ngumoha has effectively taken Madueke's place in the Three Lions squad for this break, and is being eyed as a potential replacement for him at Arsenal too.
The Gunners have been actively monitoring his situation at Anfield as he rises up the ranks, and are keen to tempt him away with the promise of better game time and more trophies.
Sources have exclusively revealed to Football Insider that Liverpool have no plans to let Ngumoha leave the club and are looking to tie him down to a new contract in the coming months.
