Arsenal 'open to offers' for Fabio Vieira amid Nottingham Forest links
Arsenal are ready to cash in on midfielder Fabio Vieira this summer, sources have told Football Insider.
The Portuguese spent the 2025-26 campaign on loan at Hamburg, and the Gunners are now "open to offers" for him this summer.
The Bundesliga side have allowed their purchase option as part of that loan agreement to expire, and Viera is now heading into the final 12 months of his deal at the Emirates Stadium.
Mikel Arteta has no intentions to reintegrate the 26-year-old back into his squad, and the club are aware that this is their final chance to cash in on him.
The former Porto man hasn't played a competitive game for the North Londoners since the 2023-24 campaign, and has enjoyed loan spells in each of the last two seasons.
With his contract at Arsenal now entering its final stages, the club have every intention of securing some cash for the midfielder.
Fabio Vieira linked with Nottingham Forest
Vieira has struggled to make an impact since he joined Arsenal back in 2022, but he is still a player with a strong pedigree behind him.
He has experience of multiple campaigns in both the Champions League and Europa League, and notched 12 goal involvements in the Bundesliga in 2025-26.
Reports in Germany have recently suggested that the player is on Nottingham Forest's radar as a summer target, and there have even been suggestions that a bid has been lodged by the Reds.
It is currently unclear whether those suggestions are correct, but Vieira is expected to have no shortage of suitors this summer.
Arsenal are keen to take their final chance to get him out of the door for money, and a willingness to offload from Arteta as well means a sale is extremely likely.
Arsenal 'want to sell' Ethan Nwaneri
Former Manchester United chief scout Mick Brown told Football Insider earlier this week that Arsenal "want to sell" Ethan Nwaneri this summer.
The young winger endured a difficult loan spell at Marseille last season, and is expected to struggle to work his way into Arteta's team next term.
Brown also backed up the Magpies as a strong suitor for the England U21 international, who is still tipped to have a huge future ahead of him.
