Max Dowman has had an incredible first season at Arsenal which has launched his Premier League career.

Dowman broke numerous records as he helped Arsenal win the Premier League title for the first time in 22 years, and reach the final of the Champions League.

Often used off the bench by manager Mikel Arteta, Dowman made 13 appearances for the north London club across the 2025-26 campaign.

Dowman has already signed a pre-contract agreement with Arsenal to commit his future to the club when he turns 17.

Capable of playing out wide, or in the number 10 role, Dowman looks set to have a big future at Arsenal, if the club can manage his development.

Max Dowman 'grateful' for Arsenal breakthrough

A week after Arsenal lost the Champions League final to PSG, and held their Premier League title parade in north London, Dowman took to Instagram to share a reel of his highlights from the season.

Dowman captioned the post "grateful," which prompted responses from teammates Gabriel Martinelli and Piero Hincapie.

Martinelli commented, "what a player," whilst Hincapie called Dowman a "star."

The post was also liked by teammates William Saliba, Eberechi Eze, and Myles Lewis-Skelly.

Arsenal acting quick in summer transfer market

Dowman is expected to have further competition for places next season, if Arteta can acquire his top transfer targets this summer.

The Gunners are one of a number of clubs interested in Aston Villa midfielder Morgan Rogers, who could cost up to £100million, with Unai Emery's side ideally not wanting to lose the England international.

Sources have told Football Insider that Aston Villa have identified their replacement for Rogers, and Arsenal are believed to be leading the race to sign the 23-year-old.

Meanwhile, the Gunners are closing in on an agreement to add 16-year-old Leicester forward Jeremy Monga to their ranks next season, with the Foxes ready to cash in following their relegation to League One.

Arsenal are expected to pay around £10m for Monga, who will provide more direct competition for Dowman for his place in the squad.
