Arsenal supporters are out for blood after Bernardo Silva kicked out at Martin Odegaard during Norway's clash against Portugal.

Keith Hackett told Football Insider that the former Manchester City star was fortunate not to be shown a red card for the incident on Sunday, 27 September.

In the closing stages of the game, as Norway tried to find a late equaliser, Bernardo simply swiped his opposition's feet from underneath him.

Odegaard finished the game with a limp because of the challenge, with the news travelling back to North London within minutes.

The 27-year-old missed far too many games in 2025-26, but this season, has been in top form, netting four goals in eight games so far.

Arsenal fans want Martin Odegaard return

It has emerged that Odegaard's missed Norway's training session on Tuesday, 29 September, but he is still in contention to face Wales.

Norway are in constant communication with the Gunners about the player's fitness, but Arsenal fans have seen enough already.

Supporters are ordering the club to withdraw Odegaard for the remainder of the international window, with important games coming up in North London.

As for Bernardo, fans are wishing the worst for his fitness levels, with one even hoping that he suffers an ACL injury as punishment.

Odegaard is not the only concern in this window, but he is certainly one of the more important cases so far.

Kai Havertz has been flown back to England after suffering a knee injury against the Netherlands, lasting just 30 minutes before being replaced.
