Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to slam Josh Onomah for his performance in the 0-0 draw with Millwall at Villa Park on Saturday afternoon.

Onomah, 20, has been in great form since signing for the Villains on loan from Premier League side Tottenham in the summer but it appears that he was well off the pace against Millwall this weekend.

The playmaker has made 21 appearances across all competitions for Aston Villa this season, scoring three goals and supplying one assist in the process, earning rave reviews from the fans up until this point.

One fan who wasn't happy with the attacker's performance even claimed that whoever is scouting the Spurs loanee needs sacking because of how poor he played against the London side.

Here is a selection of their tweets:

Onomah is very highly rated at Tottenham and it caused quite a stir when he joined Villa in the summer, with many expecting him to be one of the best players in the Championship.

However it seems that fans see Onomah as a player who struggles to find any consistency.
