Aston Villa fans have urged the club’s chiefs to get rid of current boss Steve Bruce and appoint Gary Rowett in his place.
The Midlands giants have underwent some dismal form under the experienced boss with their last league win coming back on Boxing Day in a 2-1 victory over Burton.
They have suffered five defeats in the Championship since then alongside two draws and they have been left in 16th place, 16 points behind the play-offs.
Rowett, 42, is currently without a club after losing his job with fierce rivals Birmingham earlier in the season, but many have identified him as the next possible boss due to claims that he supports their side.
Additionally, many feel that he was doing a good job with Birmingham and was harshly sacked and Villa fans now think that he would do a better job in charge than Bruce.

Some sections of the fan base took to Tweet owner Tony Xia directly, while others simply called for Rowett to take over with their feelings more than clear.

I'm convinced #avfc should be doing everything possible to get Gary Rowett in as manager. Clear strategy with solid tactics needed.

Rowett has managed just two sides in his career with Burton and Birmingham.
However, he took the Brewers to two play-off finishes and was doing well with the Blues, losing his job with the side in seventh, while they have since tumbled down to 12th.
