'Feel like crying', 'What planet is Bruce on?' – Aston Villa fans gutted that one man starts v Sunderland
Steve Bruce announced his line-up for the Championship clash at the Stadium of Light on Tuesday night and fans are gutted that Glenn Whelan is starting.
Aston Villa are hoping to secure another three points and move to within one of Cardiff in Sunderland tonight.
They’re currently four points off second with Cardiff hosting Barnsley tonight.
The team news was announced on the official Aston Villa Twitter page ahead of the 7.45pm kick-off.

Aston Villa got back to winning ways in the Championship on Saturday with a 4-2 win over Sheffield Wednesday.
That got them back to winning ways after a 2-0 loss to Fulham and a 1-1 draw with preston put paid to a brilliant run of seven league wins in a row stretching back to December.
