Swansea left-back Neil Taylor is set to make a switch to Aston Villa – and fans on Twitter have had mixed views on the deal.
ESPN correspondent Pete O’Rourke has claimed on his personal Twitter account that Villa have agreed a deal with the Swans which will also see Jordan Ayew heading the other way.

Taylor is currently sidelined with an injury but with Paul Clement’s decision to bring in a new left-back in Martin Olsson this month, he could see his game-time reduced for the remainder of the campaign.
The highly-rated Premier League player is currently aiming to help his side avoid relegation this season but could now swap a relegation battle for a promotion fight.
Some supporters stated that adding Taylor to their ranks will be a real coup because he would provide great competition with the club’s current left-back Jordan Amavi.
Additionally, fans also felt that the Wales international will bring some much-needed cover to the left side of the defence.
However, one supporter believes that Taylor is coming in as a replacement for the Frenchman who will leave the club in the summer.
Villa have loaned out Aly Cissokho this month which leaves Amavi as the only senior left-back in the side.
One fan stated that he would be happy for Taylor to come into the team as long as Villa receive cash on top of his deal.
Taylor has been a regular feature for the Swans in recent seasons and he showcased his talent for Wales during their terrific run at Euro 2016.
Now, he could be set to help Bruce and his team earn instant promotion back to the Premier League.
Here is a selection of fans messages on Twitter:
if #avfc can wrap up the Taylor deal, would be a real coup. Competition for Amavi should up his performances & put him under pressure

not sure we need Brady if we sign Taylor. Leaves us with Birkir, Brady and Green as LWs. #avfc

Can't say I've watched Neil Taylor either but need some form of cover at LB. Hopefully he can do a job when needed and challenge Amavi #AVFC

Watched Taylor several times live with Wales, he’s a solid enough player, should do well in Championship. Can be nervy at times. #avfc
