Aston Villa fans react on Twitter as they could reportedly lose second senior attacker to PL club
By Amir Mir
Swansea could make a move for Aston Villa attacker Jordan Ayew – and fans on Twitter have stated that they would let him go.
The Mirror claim that the Welsh side will test Villa’s resolve for keeping hold of the 25-year-old, with the Midlands giants also set to sell Rudy Gestede to Middlesbrough after accepting a £6million offer.
Steve Bruce’s current attackers are Jonathan Kodja, Gabby Agbonlahor, Ross McCormack, Ayew and Gestede – the latter two are being linked with moves away from the club.
Supporters on Twitter were more than happy to see Ayew linked with a move away to the Welsh outfit and stated that they would let him go.
But another fan pointed out that the Ghana international is the only one who has the ability to get past players.

Supporters believe Ayew has talent but it seems as though he is not fulfilling that talent for the Championship club this season.
Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:

Chery signs for Guizhou Hengfeng Zhicheng, think we'll see Ayew go to China too shortly. They're not just signing superstars now. #AVFC

I'm not convinced by Ayew, he's talented though. Doesn't seem to have a set role. Almost needs a free No.10 role if he plays.

At this moment in time, Ayew is currently on international duty with his home country where he will be participating in the Africa Cup of Nations which starts on January 14.
This term, Ayew has played 21 Championship games for the club, scoring on two occasions and supplying four assists.
He has not scored for the club since October when manager Bruce picked up his first win as boss by claiming a late win at Reading.
In other Aston Villa transfer news, it has been confirmed that this duo are heading to the club from lower league sides.
