Aston Villa fans plead with club not to sell Grealish after speculation
By Dominic Toner
Middlesbrough are reportedly preparing a move for Aston Villa attacker Jack Grealish – and the club’s supporters have responded on Twitter to claim he must not be sold.
The Mail claim that Boro are eyeing a move for the 21-year-old as a replacement for Gaston Ramirez if he moves to Leicester.
It is understood that the Foxes have had a £12million bid rejected and will need to match the £15million valuation for Ramirez, who recently handed in a transfer request.
The report details that Villa would command a “significant fee” for Grealish who graduated through their academy.
Boro and Villa have struck up a strong relationship in recent windows, with Adama Traore, Brad Guzan, Albert Adomah and Rudy Gestede moving between the two clubs.

We should be seeing how Grealish does now we've signed proper centre mids to link with him.

I'd rather keep Grealish than sign anyone else. Needs more end product, but easily one of the most natural footballers I've seen at #avfc

Grealish has been average recently but wouldn't even consider selling him. He's such a technically talented player. #avfc

Grealish is regarded as one of the best upcoming talents at the Midlands club and is now an established member of the first-team.
The 21-year-old can play in a variety of attacking positions including through the centre and in a wide position.
He has become an important player under manager Steve Bruce and has made 24 appearances this season, scoring three goals and supplying four assists.
Grealish will now be hoping to be even more productive in front of goal and can look forward to a strong supply line from new signings Henri Lansbury and Conor Hourihane.
