He is a disgrace: Aston Villa fans pile into senior player after his display against Wigan
By Will Butcher
Aston Villa fans have slated £12million signing Ross McCormack on Twitter after he appeared to look unfit during his substitute display against Wigan.
McCormack, 30, was given half an hour by manager Steve Bruce as Villa went in search of a winner before Jack Grealish finally broke the deadlock in the 88th minute to win 1-0.
Former Leeds attacker McCormack has endured a tough time in the Midlands after moving from Fulham in the summer, with reports claiming that he could be sold in January.
With the likes of Jonathan Kodjia, Jordan Ayew and Jack Grealish ahead of him in the pecking order, McCormack is finding it tough to gain a regular starting berth in Bruce’s side.
Aston Villa fans reacted on Twitter to McCormack’s performance against Wigan, with many angry at the physical state of their summer signing.

In his 15 league and cup appearances for the Midlands giants this season, McCormack has netted just twice as well as picking up five yellow cards.
McCormack, who has also played for Rangers and Fulham, could be on his way out of Villa Park in the summer as the fans begin to turn on him and Bruce looks to trim his attacking options.
