Aston Villa midfield ace posts Twitter message ahead of Wolves clash

By Amir Mir

Aaron Tshibola has stated on Twitter that he is “looking forward” to Aston Villa’s clash against Wolves on Saturday evening.

Midfielder Tshibola, 21, will be hoping to take the field at Villa Park in the Midlands clash against Walter Zenga’s side at the weekend, after being dropped to the bench in the 2-0 defeat against Preston.

Villa are expected to announce former Birmingham City boss Steve Bruce as their new manager on Wednesday, following the sacking of Roberto Di Matteo on October 3.

Ahead of the Midlands derby, summer signing Tshibola took to his personal Twitter account to post this message to the Villa faithful ahead of a mouth-watering contest.

Tshibola was a summer signing from Championship rivals Reading, where he has since made five league appearances for the struggling Midlands outfit, scoring one goal.

He will be competing with midfield partners Mile Jedinak, Ashley Westwood and Gary Gardner for a first-team spot at the weekend.

Villa are currently 19th in the Championship table, two points above the relegation zone, with 10 points from their 11 league outings.

They have registered only one win all season, drawing seven and losing three matches in a dismal start to the new campaign.

In other Aston Villa team news, Kieran Richardson is being linked with a move to Cardiff and supporters have reacted on Twitter.
