By Amir Mir

Aston Villa would consider selling striker Jordan Ayew to Galatasaray for £9million, according to a report.

TalkSport, citing Turkish outlet FotoSpor, claim that that the Turkish giants are preparing a bid for the Championship player later this week.

Galatasaray have shown interest in the Villa striker who scored seven goals last term as his club were relegated into the second tier.

It is said Villa are prepared to consider a £9million offer from the club, despite the Championship side reluctant to let their star player leave Villa Park.

As reported by Football Insider, the African striker has given the Turkish side the green light to sign him as he is not prepared to play second tier football.

It is also said Premier League duo Stoke and Bournemouth are interested in the services of the versatile player who can also play on either wing.

The 24-year-old was a summer signing for the now departed Tim Sherwood from French side Lorient for a fee of £8million.

Ayew was part of a side that scored 27 league goals last term, but the former Lorient player shone with his attacking play and the Villa supporters will be hoping he stays at the club.

In other Aston Villa news, Villa have been given an emphatic answer from a Scottish striker as manager Roberto Di Matteo shows interest.
