Aston Villa receive major team-news boost ahead of clash v Fulham
By Danny Wright
Fulham will be without key striker Chris Martin when they welcome Aston Villa to Craven Cottage on Monday.
The 28-year-old was shown a straight red card in Friday’s 3-1 victory over Norwich, but the Cottagers decided to appeal the decision.
Fulham confirmed on their official Twitter account that they were unsuccessful in their protest and Martin will now face a three-game suspension.

Steve Bruce and his side are still looking to secure a top-half finish in the Championship despite suffering a 3-1 loss to promotion-contenders Reading on Saturday.
The Villans will go into the game with less than 48 hours rest in between fixtures and Fulham will be in the mood to try and break into the play-off spots.
Villa have the potential to move as high as ninth if results go their way – above Brentford, Norwich and Preston.
