Grealish may have 'reached his limit' at Aston Villa amid Telegraph update - McAvennie
Jack Grealish may have “reached his limit” at Aston Villa and want “guaranteed silverware” at Man City.
That is according to ex-Villa goalscorer Frank McAvennie, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the Grealish transfer saga.
The Telegraph reported on 25th June that the Premier League champions are lining up a £100million bid for the England star.
This site revealed on 10th June that the playmaker is keen on moving to City and has told friends as much.
McAvennie suggests that Grealish will be unfazed by the transfer buzz surrounding him but that the lure of silverware at the Eithad is strong.
“They’ve got a big problem with Grealish,” he told Football Insider correspondent Adam Williams.

“We don’t know but they will know whether he is going to go or not. They can say that they aren’t letting him go all they want but that’s big money, huge money.
“But I don’t think he himself will be bothered about all the fuss that’s going on. He’s so laid back he’s horizontal. I like that about him.
“He wants to win things. Everyone reaches their limit no matter how much they love the club.
“If you go to Man City, you’re going to win a couple of things. It’s almost guaranteed silverware.”
Grealish is currently starring for England at the Euros.
He supplied the assist for Harry Kane’s goal in the Three Lions’ historic 2-0 victory over Germany in the round of 16.
