Aston Villa tipped to go all out for Jones in January after Nixon update - pundit
Kevin Campbell predicts Aston Villa may go all out to sign Liverpool sensation Curtis Jones in January.
The Arsenal icon, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, reacted to an update on Villa’s interest.
According to Alan Nixon (29 August), Villa have a “big interest” in the Reds attacking midfielder who he likened to Jack Grealish.
A bid of £15million is reportedly being readied by the Midlands club.
Jones, 20, has not yet made an appearance for Liverpool this season after being handed 34 outings last term.
He is a product of the Reds’ academy and has been on the club’s books since 2010.

Campbell predicts Villa may move for the youngster in January if their season starts to unravel.
“It’s going to be an interesting few months, January especially,” Campbell told Football Insider assistant editor Dylan Childs.
“It depends how Villa do, if they do ok they might wait until the end of the season.
“If they aren’t doing as well as they want to, they will have to really push for Curtis Jones.
“Villa like young players and Jones is exactly that, he’s got real quality.
“Villa are looking to buy smart, buy young and looking to buy players with something to prove which is smart.”
Aston Villa are currently 11th in the Premier League after winning, losing and drawing their opening three games.
The Villains had a busy summer bringing Emi Buendia, Leon Bailey and Danny Ings to the club.
