Endrick's agents are reportedly working on a move that would see him join the Premier League and potentially Aston Villa.
The Villans have prior interest in the 20-year-old, and attempted to sign him in January before he moved to Lyon.
The Brazil international scored eight goals and provided eight assists in just 21 appearances for the French side, but has been deemed surplus to requirements at Real Madrid following the arrivals of Carlos Espi and Yan Diomande.
Endrick is under contract until 2030 and likely would only be available on loan, but Villa could well be a leading candidate for his signature in the Premier League.
Unai Emery is open to seeing Tammy Abraham leave the club this summer, just six months after signing him, and would be keen to add a younger option to challenge Ollie Watkins.
Villa also have Champions League football to offer, and should be capable of covering most, if not all, of Endrick's wages.

Villa cannot expect to have a free run at Endrick this summer - the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea are bound to be interested.
But the Villans can offer the young Brazilian guaranteed minutes where the other clubs simply cannot. That offers them a key lever in pulling off what would be an amazing signing.
Emery's reputation in Spanish football will undoubtedly work in his favour, too, with the Spaniard known to be a great developer of young talent.
Ultimately, the final decision will come down to Endrick. The young striker cannot afford any more time wasted and will hope to excel at his next destination.
With it seemingly set to be in the Premier League, according to Ramon Alvarez de Mon, Villa will emerge as a strong option.

With Vinicius Junior committing to a new contract, along with the new arrivals at Real Madrid, the path to senior football looks to be clouded.
Endrick will not be giving up on his career at the Bernabeu just yet, but Los Blancos have been known to give up on young players - Martin Odegaard, for example.
It remains to be seen whether the same case happens with the young Brazilian, but a loan to Villa could leave them well placed to take advantage.
"Only God knows what will happen, whether he'll tell me to stay here or not. Nobody knows what tomorrow will bring," Endrick said in February after he was asked about the start to his loan at Lyon.
