Aston Villa and Unai Emery must be expecting serious offers for Morgan Rogers, and Chelsea are likely to be at the front of that queue this summer.

The 23-year-old England international has long been linked with a move away from Villa Park, and with 10 goals and seven assists across all competitions this season, the interest is only likely to ramp up.

Most clubs in the Premier League's top six have staked an interest in the attacker's signature, and it could be Liam Rosenior's side that finally pull the trigger once the 2025-26 campaign ends.

Of course, Villa would be devastated by Rogers' exit, but the hierarchy may simply have no choice but to cash in if the Blues come knocking with an eye-watering offer this summer.

Chelsea could be about to cash in on Enzo Fernandez

Todd Boehly's side are no strangers to splashing the cash, only recently wasting millions on the likes of Alejandro Garnacho, Jamie Gittens and Liam Delap.

The Blues might have even more funds open to them ahead of the 2026-26 campaign, with Enzo Fernandez now expected to join Real Madrid following his comments during the international break.

Those back at Stamford Bridge didn't take too well to his quotes, with the playmaker being suspended for games against Port Vale and Man City, and many fans believe that this could be the beginning of the end.

If the bookies are to be believed, Real Madrid are leading the race to sign Fernandez, and that would leave Rosenior with a gaping hole in his forward line ahead of next season.

Unai Emery faces losing Morgan Rogers and other stars

Villa fans would rather sell other stars than see Rogers leave this summer, but it would be difficult to turn down a big-money offer with the types of transfer fees floating around Villa Park.

Champions League football looks set to return to Villa Park this season, with fifth-place Liverpool five points behind the Villans in the Premier League table, and that might be their only saving grace.

Emi Martinez, Ollie Watkins, Youri Tielemans and Ezri Konsa could all find themselves at new clubs ahead of the 2026-27 campaign, not because the club lacks ambition, but because of so many potential suitors.

Emery's squad could be seriously broken up over the summer months, and losing Rogers to another Premier League club appears only a matter of time, rather than a hypothetical.
