Aston Villa fans have urged Unai Emery to give Brian Madjo a chance in the first team once the outcome of their CAS appeal is revealed.
Madjo signed for Villa in January after breaking into Metz's senior side in the early parts of last season.
The 17-year-old striker was born in London but moved to Luxembourg with his family at a young age and came through the ranks of several local teams.
He joined Metz in 2023 and made five first-team appearances last season, while also impressing at youth level for Luxembourg and England.
Madjo has been unable to feature in a competitive game for Villa up to now, after FIFA barred his registration under rules restricting international transfers for players under 18.
They have appealed the decision with the Court of Arbitration for Sport and are awaiting the outcome after a hearing on 1 July, with Madjo seriously impressing in their latest pre-season match against Walsall.

Madjo was handed a start by Emery as the Villans travelled to the Pallet-Track Bescot Stadium on Tuesday night.
He opened the scoring in the 24th minute after fending off a Walsall defender to poke a cross home from close range.
The 17-year-old made it 3-0 before the break as he got in the way of Emi Buendia's shot and bundled the loose ball into the net.
Madjo's performance certainly caught the eye, with many Villa fans taking to X to urge the appeal to be forced through and Emery to involve him in his plans for the coming season.
One wrote: "Okay, Brian Madjo is actually R9. Get that CAS appeal approved immediately."
While another said: "We need this Madjo appeal sorted out ASAP. Bloke's a beast."
And one supporter said: "Every youngster was quality. We better win the Madjo appeal, he is a problem."
Keith Wyness explains that Madjo appeal is hanging in the balance
Madjo is currently unable to play for Villa until he turns 18 in January next year.
There is a clear pathway to the first team for him right now, with uncertainty around Ollie Watkins and Tammy Abraham's respective futures.
Former club chief Wyness has exclusively told Football Insider that CAS' decision on Madjo is 50/50, with points to be made for either side of the argument.
Wyness insisted that the rules were "ridiculous" and that the likes of Max Dowman and Rio Ngumoha prove that young stars should be allowed to feature no matter where they come from.
