'Awful', 'Absolute stinker' - Celtic fans tear into senior player for display v Partick
Celtic supporters have taken to social media to complain about the performance of Stuart Armstrong against Partick Thistle – even though he scored the opening goal of the game in the Bhoys’ 2-0 victory.
The 25-year-old senior player has struggled in recent games and this continued against the side bottom of the league until he scored a goal out of nothing to give the Scottish Premiership leaders the lead.
Armstrong made up for his slow start to the game with his excellent goal, but that hasn’t placated the mood of some fans, with one claiming that he has “had enough” of his performances.
Here are some of the best reactions to Twitter to Armstrong’s performance:

As for the game itself, the hoops were finding the Jags extremely difficult to break down until Armstrong’s goal opened the scoring in the 35th minute.
Odsonne Edouard was denied by two saves by Tomas Cerney before an excellent Kieran Tierney goal in the 67th minute put the Celts 2-0 ahead.
