Balague: Arsenal striker deal 'all done' for £55.5m but there's more good news for Gunners fans

Arsenal have completed the transfer of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for a total cost of £53million plus £2.5million in add-ons, according to a reliable journalist.
Guillem Balague delivered the news that all Arsenal fans have been waiting for on Monday lunchtime, but added that it was subject to the striker passing a medical.
If that happens then Arsenal have broke their transfer record for the deal for the striker.
Balague posted the news on his official Twitter page on Monday lunchtime.

Balague added that the wages for Aubameyang are not even half of those that Alexis Sanchez wanted for staying. He is reported to be on £500,000 a week for Manchester United.
And there was more good news for Arsenal fans as Balague went on to say that this is not the only deal that Arsenal are working on, which means Wenger could be on the verge of adding another player imminently.
Football Insider verdict:
This was the big one for Arsenal fans and it looks like Wenger has pulled it off. With Aubameyang and Mkhitaryan in the squad Arsenal fans will come out of this window with a huge smile on their faces for once. Will it be enough to win round the #WengerOut brigade? Probably not but if their new signings go on a charge and Arsenal get in the top four, they might well have to bite their tongues. The news that it’s not the only deal Arsenal are working on is more great news, with the club linked to Jonny Evans over this transfer window. If they get him as well it would be the perfect January.
