BBC: Leeds in ongoing striker talks, January loan move close
West Yorkshire Sport has stated that Leeds striker Mailk Wilks is close to securing a loan move to League Two club Carlisle United.
The 19-year-old has come up through the youth ranks and spent the first half of the season on loan at Accrington Stanley.
He made 19 appearances in League Two and scored three goals, and now he looks set to return further down the table.
Accrington Stanley are currently in third spot in the league, two points behind Notts County and eight off the leaders Luton Town.
Carlisle meanwhile are in 13th, 11 points behind Stanley.
The news was posted on BBC Radio West Yorkshire Sport’s official Twitter page on Thursday afternoon.

A report in the Yorkshire Evening Post claims that the loan deal should be concluded by Saturday after it was confirmed that Thomas Christiansen had no plans to use him in the first team for the rest of the season.
