Celtic fans on social media have reacted with hilarity after Neil Lennon went on the pitch to celebrate Hibernian’s last minute equaliser in their 5-5 draw with Rangers.

The former Celtic manager celebrated in style after being subject to plenty of abuse from Rangers fans throughout the game.

He was sent to the stand after his celebrations, but as he explained to the Football on BT Sport Twitter account, he felt that it was worth it.

Hoops fans thought this was hilarious, and they were quick to remind Rangers fans of some on-pitch celebrations that they have done in recent years.

Here are some of the best reactions from Hoops fans to Lennon’s celebrations:

Lennon has done an excellent job in his second season with the Easter Road side, as he has lead them to fourth place which is a great achievement for a team which has just been promoted.

Lennon departed the Hoops in 2014 after winning three league titles as a manager, and he has had some good results as manager against the Hoops this season, with two draws and a win.

If he keeps up his good run of results in the next few seasons, demand will grow for the former Hoops boss to make the return to the Parkhead hotseat when Brendan Rodgers eventually departs.
