'Best in the world' Kane will break records at Tottenham this season after development - pundit
Frank McAvennie insists Harry Kane is fully concentrated on his Tottenham career after failing to move this summer.
The former West Ham striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, reacted to Kane’s latest comments.
On 31 August, Kane told TalksSPORT his “conscience is clear” after a potential move to Man City never got off the ground.
Kane will stay at Tottenham this season but missed his side’s opening game against City while his future was still up in the air.
Incidentally, City were the only club to make a concrete bid for the England captain.
“No one has mentioned it for a while,” McAvennie told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.

“All summer it was Kane this and Kane that. Now it looks like it’s over. That’s a huge boost for them.
“Some players would have gone on strike if they didn’t have their way, Kane claims he didn’t do that.
“I’ve said before, I trust Kane over Daniel Levy any day so I think he’s telling the truth.
“It’s great to see him knuckle down and keep going. Sometimes you don’t get what you want and you just have to make the best of it.
“He’s the best in the world at what he does and he will score bags of goals this season, like he always does. He’s in his prime now, he could break his own record this year.
“Until there is something he can do about moving in January or next summer I think he’ll keep quiet.”
Kane played the full game against Crystal Palace last weekend as his side were beaten 3-0.
He has failed to score in the Premier League so far this season.
