Rangers are joint favourites with KIlmarnock to sign Norwich forward Steven Naismith in January, according to the latest bookmakers’ odds.
BetVictor have the Light Blues priced at 4/1 to re-sign Naismith, 31, before the end of next month after the Scotland international revealed that he would like to make a transfer from Carrow Road and return to Ibrox.
Aberdeen (6/1), Sunderland (6/1) and Leeds United (8/1) are also seen to be in the running to sign Naismith, who has made it clear that he would like to leave Norwich.
He also admitted that his situation at Norwich isn’t “ideal” at the moment and would consider exiting the English Championship side next month which appears to have been what has sparked BetVictor into opening the market on where his next club will be.
Due to injury, Naismith has made just three appearances for the Canaries across all competitions this season but once he is back to fitness he may not be able to force his way into Daniel Farke’s first-team plans.
The 45-times Scotland international left Rangers in 2012 to sign for Everton.
He made 132 appearances across all competitions and scored 33 goals in his previous spell in Glasgow.
In other Rangers news, a BBC pundit has claimed that this Gers player may have played his final time for the club.
