Betting latest: Rangers second faves to sign international flyer after reported offer made

Rangers have been installed second favourites to sign Burnley winger Scott Arfield this month, according to the latest bookmakers’ odds.
BetVictor have opened the market on Arfield, 29, to leave Turf Moor during the January transfer window and have made West Ham the strong 2/1 favourites to snap up him this month.
Rangers, Newcastle, Crystal Palace and Brighton have all been installed as 6/1 joint second favourites to seal a swoop for the 11-times Canada international, who is out of contract at the end of the season.

Sky Sports has reported that Burnley have offered Arfield a new contract, however the Livingston-born flyer is yet to agree any sort of terms and his future at the Premier League club remains in doubt.
Brighton, Palace and favourites West Ham are also understood to be interested in the former Falkirk winger, who would be available for free in the summer unless someone strikes up a deal this month.
Arfield has made 17 appearances across all competitions for high-flying Burnley this season, scoring two goals in the process which came against Liverpool and Watford.
Rangers have already signed two players this month in Sean Goss and Jamie Murphy but Graeme Murty may still want to improve his options on the left wing by making a swoop for Arfield.
In other Rangers news, offers worth £10,000-a-week have been made for this international forward eager on a move to Ibrox.
