Leeds and Celtic are in the running to sign Manchester City midfielder Fabian Delph, according to the latest bookmaker odds.
Bet Victor have priced the prestigious duo as joint favourites alongside Crystal Palace at 6/1 before the summer transfer window shuts on 3 September.
Only newly promoted side Newcastle are priced lower with odds of 7/4 to sign the nine-time capped England international, while former club Aston Villa trail at 8/1.
Delph is of course also formerly of Leeds and the player broke through their youth ranks before making his debut in 2007 at the age of 18.
He went on to play 58 times for the club, returning six goals and providing one himself before leaving the Yorkshire giants in League One for then Premier League Villa in the summer of 2009.
The central midfield player has since earned himself an £8million move to cash-rich Manchester City, but with having only played in seven Premier League matches this season he could be looking for a move elsewhere.
Now, Leeds are currently set for another season in the Championship after just missing out on promotion this campaign and will be looking to add players who they feel can help them end their wait for top-flight football.
Meanwhile, Celtic will be looking for targets who they believe can push them on in the Champions League and manager Brendan Rodgers may feel that he can help resurrect Delph’s career after Manchester City as he has done with current star Scott Sinclair.
In other Leeds transfer news, the Whites are expected to pursue permanent transfers for this top-flight duo.
