Bold Aubameyang verdict delivered after Arsenal horror reveal - pundit
Kevin Campbell has defended Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang after he registered some disappointing stats during Arsenal v Man City.
The former Gunners hitman, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, reacted to his former side’s latest loss.
Arsenal were hammered 5-0 by last season’s Premier League champions leaving them rock bottom of the Premier League.
According to FBref, Aubameyang only registered 14 touches against Arsenal.
As well as this, he only registered a 41% passing accuracy.
Campbell insists it is hard for Aumabeyang to influence the game when Arsenal were rarely on the attack.

“It’s crazy, for five minutes we looked lively,” Campbell told Football Insider assistant editor Dylan Childs.
“I’m a striker, I know what it feels like when the opposition keep going down the other end and keep scoring.
“Then they go and score against and you are up against it. Any momentum you have is just gone.
“Looking interested and being well beaten goes together. The problem is that we can’t defend.
“Aubameyang’s best work is done at the other end of the pitch.
“How can he look interested when he hasn’t got the ball and your team is getting heavily beaten?
“No wonder he’s not running around, he can do it 100 times but he’s getting nothing from it.”
The result against City means Arsenal have failed to score in the Premier League this season despite playing three games.
They are next in action against Norwich after the international break.
