Premier League fans up and down the country would assume that Alex Scott is currently Bournemouth's most valuable player.

And in terms of impact on the pitch, they might be right, as evidenced by the total fallout after the news of his injury away on international duty.

Chelsea are huge admirers of the 23-year-old, who could now be sidelined until the beginning of December, but he won't be cheap at all.

After Elliot Anderson's £116million move to Manchester City and Morgan Rogers' £117m move to Chelsea, he could easily break the Cherries' transfer record.

No Bournemouth player has been sold for more than £65m, a record set by Antoine Semenyo's January move to the Etihad Stadium.

But with Marco Rose having no desire to lose Scott before the end of the season, it could be his teammate that rips up the history books at the Vitality Stadium.

Despite losing several stars over the last few windows, the new manager still has a lot of talent at his disposal.

The Cherries' 17th-place standing in the Premier League table doesn't represent how good the squad is. Junior Kroupi's return from injury could be a game-changer.

But it isn't him either. Football Insider understands that Liverpool are eyeing up 20-year-old Rayan, with Andoni Iraola key to making the deal happen.

The Brazilian has caught plenty of attention since arriving in England, even becoming a regular for the national team under Carlo Ancelotti.

And according to Football Observatory, the winger is already worth in the region of €108m (£91.6m) to €126m (£107m), and that is only likely to rise.

Who else could Bournemouth lose?

The Cherries must be rueing some of their lost players over the last couple of transfer windows, especially the likes of Semenyo and Marcos Senesi.

Despite the setbacks, the squad was totally revamped during the summer, signing Antonio Silva, Juanlu Sanchez, Alvaro Rodriguez and Michele Di Gregorio.

Out of the new additions, the new 22-year-old centre-back, Silva, is the most destined for a big-money move in a few windows.

He has already implemented himself as a key figure at the Vitality, and the Cherries have done extremely well to get a deal done with Benfica.
