Andoni Iraola will reject Tottenham to make a 'real name for himself' at Bournemouth
AFC Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola should not feel tempted to leave the Cherries and join Premier League rivals Tottenham.
That is according to ex-Everton, Aston Villa, and Aberdeen chief executive Keith Wyness, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, as Iraola's future at Bournemouth remains uncertain.
The 43-year-old has been linked with the likes of Spurs and Manchester United during his time on the south coast, with the Cherries now established as a Premier League club.
The latest links to Spurs come as they are expected to sack interim manager Igor Tudor and be on the lookout for a new permanent boss.
Iraola has yet to sign a new contract at Bournemouth, with his deal set to expire at the end of the season, having been at the club since 2023.

Everton’s former chief Keith Wyness – who served as CEO at Goodison Park between 2004 and 2009 and now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs - believes Iraola could "make a real name for himself" if he stays at Bournemouth.
Speaking on the new edition of Football Insider‘s Inside Track podcast, Wyness is backing the Spaniard to remain at the club, and not join the likes of Spurs.

He told Football Insider‘s Inside Track podcast: “The temptation of that, going to Spurs, seems to, I would think, be tempered right now if I was him and his agent.
"So I think that was the big tip. So I do expect him to stay at Bournemouth and realise that sometimes the grass isn't always greener and that Bournemouth are outperforming a lot of clubs right now.
"He's got the potential to make a real name for himself. And he's got the squad playing very well. So I do expect him to stay.”
Iraola set for further transfer blow
Sources have told Football Insider that Bournemouth will accept a bid for Marcus Tavernier as interest increases in the 27-year-old.
The club are also set to lose Marcos Senesi at the end of the season, after Iraola lost a number of key players last summer, and Antoine Semenyo in January.
Tavernier could cost any buyer up to £40million, with Man United one interested club if they can not agree deals for any of their top targets.
