Brazilian wonderkid Nathan is set to undergo a medical at Chelsea after flying in to London to complete a £4.7million move.

The 19-year-old wide forward will undergo two days of medical examinations after being granted permission by his club Atletico Paranaense to hold talks with the Premier League club. Chelsea have agreed a fee rising to £4.7m for Nathan, who is regarded as one of the most exciting young players in Brazil, and are confident of clinching the signing this week. He could then be loaned out to gain first team experience. The teenager has been closely monitored by the Londoners following his performances in the World Under-17 Championships two years ago. Chelsea already have a strong Brazilian contingent, with Willian, Ramires, Oscar and Filipe Luis all in the senior squad and Lucas Piazon, 21, on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt.
