Micky van de Ven and Brennan Johnson both reacted to Pedro Porro's latest message as rumours swirl around the Tottenham star's future.

The Spaniard endured a frustrating campaign in North London, facing endless criticism from the Spurs fanbase despite notching four goals and nine assists from left-back.

It is unknown what the future holds for much of the current squad, with The Telegraph reporting (6 June) that Daniel Levy is facing a toxic player revolt after the sacking of Ange Postecoglou.

The Australian has already been replaced by Thomas Frank after lifting the Europa League trophy against Man United in the final, with Spurs' 17th-place standing in the Premier League too much to come back from.

Football Insider understood as recently as May that Tottenham are eyeing potential replacements for Porro should he leave this summer, which could now be more likely given the situation in North London.

Pedro Porro enjoys time away from Tottenham

Taking to Instagram (12 June), Porro wrote: "With a full heart..." enjoying time away with his family, gaining likes from Johnson, Van de Ven, Yves Bissouma, and Dominic Solanke.

Real Madrid's Dean Huijsen, Bournemouth's Evanilson, and Leeds United's exit-linked Junior Firpo also liked the player's post.

Frank was a much-loved figure at the Gtech Community Stadium, having not just improved the team tenfold during his time with the Bees but also impacted the community around him.

Football Insider understands that the 51-year-old's arrival could help Tottenham hijack Man United's deal for Bryan Mbeumo this summer, with the winger impressing immensely in recent seasons.

The Cameroon international is still expected to join the Red Devils, but it raises questions over Spurs' transfer plans over the coming weeks due to the ongoing situation with the squad.

With both Cristian Romero and Van de Ven linked with exits, Tottenham remain keen to keep Son Heung-min, though Football Insider understands that a lucrative offer could be considered due to his age and contract situation.

The new manager could face a battle to keep multiple of his new stars in North London, especially after the harsh nature of Postecoglou's exit, but he knew that when taking the job on.

After finishing one spot above the relegation zone in the Premier League table, albeit winning the Europa League title in the same season, the Lilywhites will be expecting much better next term.
