Brentford have no intention of selling Liverpool and Arsenal target Bryan Mbeumo in the January transfer window, sources have told Football Insider.

The 25-year-old has been attracting interest from top Premier League clubs after his impressive form with the Bees.

Liverpool, Arsenal and Aston Villa are among the sides to be linked with Mbeumo, while Nottingham Forest reportedly saw a £25million bid rejected by Brentford in the summer window.

The Cameroon international is now the key man for Thomas Frank's side after the departure of Ivan Toney, who joined Saudi giants Al-Ahli last month.

Sources say Brentford have sent a clear signal that they are unwilling to sell the forward in January.

However, it is believed he will attract strong interest from top clubs in any case if his form continues.

Brentford won't sell Liverpool & Arsenal target Mbeumo in January

Mbeumo has already hit three goals in three appearances this term, providing further evidence that he has blossomed into one of the Premier League's leading forwards.

He scored nine in 27 games last season but missed a large portion of the season with an ankle injury.

Mbeumo has notched 53 goals and 42 assists in 203 games for the Bees and is under contract at the club until June 2026.

Brentford have won two of their opening three games despite losing Toney.
