Brentford and Ipswich are among a host of clubs eyeing moves for Paris FC attacker Ilan Kebbal, sources have told Football Insider.

The 27-year-old is understood to be keen on a move to the Premier League, and intermediary Paul McKay, who has the UK mandate for the winger, admits there is a great deal of interest in the player this summer.

“There is a great deal of interest in Ilan, and that comes as no surprise following his impressive form, “ McKay told Football Insider

“Ilan is interested in playing in the Premier League and we are speaking to several clubs about a potential move.”

The Algerian international was one of the standout performers in Ligue 1 last season with nine goals and four assists in 29 games.

Kebbal has taken his game to the next level since joining Paris FC back in 2022, and his performances have brought him into the radar of clubs across Europe's top leagues.

Brentford to battle Premier League newcomers and French giants for Ilan Kebbal

Brentford have gained a strong reputation for shrewd transfer business in recent years, and they have now set their eyes on Kebbal as their latest target.

The Bees are ready to battle Premier League newcomers Ipswich Town for his signature this summer, with both sides looking to bolster their attacking options.

Brentford are hoping to push for European football once again next term, while Kieran McKenna's Tractor Boys have a very clear mandate to stay in the league.

They are both facing competition from Marseille, according to Alan Nixon via his Patreon, as they have unsurprisingly taken a fancy to the wideman after his eye-catching campaign.

However, a Premier League move is the preference for the player at this stage, as he is keen to test himself at the very top level.

That puts both Brentford and Ipswich in the driving seat in the race for his signature, despite the fact that Marseille can offer Europa League footbll next term.

Kebbal came close to Premier League move in January

Football Insider previously revealed that Fulham, Crystal Palace and Sunderland were all interested in Kebbal in the January window.

The right-sided star has been on the radar of English clubs for a while now, but that trio appear to have taken a back seat, with Ipswich and Brentford now coming to the fore.

Kebbal has enjoyed four productive campaigns with Paris FC, a spell which has helped to take the club from Ligue 2 up to the fringes of the top half of Ligue 1.

However, it is now clear that he is ready for a new challenge, and there are a whole host of clubs that are queuing up to offer him that this summer.
