Brighton believe that young centre-back Luka Vuskovic is a £100million talent in the making, sources have told Football Insider.

The 19-year-old has made an outstanding start on the South Coast, and is already attracting attention from Bayern Munich, who are long-term admirers of him.

However, the Seagulls are under no pressure to sell the starlet at the moment, and are well aware that Vuskovic's price tag will only continue to rise.

Sources say that Brighton are "relaxed" about the Croatian's future, despite the fact that the German champions continue to keep tabs on him.

The former Tottenham man is under contract at the Amex Stadium until the summer of 2031, having only joined in the summer.

Vuskovic has started every single Premier League game for Fabian Hurzeler's side so far this season, and has missed just 12 minutes of league action.

Luka Vuskovic in line to be Brighton's next huge sale

Brighton have become renowned for their impressive player trading ability in recent years, as they have created countless stars from their setup.

Moises Caicedo, Carlos Baleba, Marc Cucurella and Joao Pedro were all sold for huge money, after making positive contributions in a blue and white shirt.

Vuskovic was a more expensive acquisition than we have been accustomed to seeing from them when he joined for £46m in the summer, but it is a move that could potentially prove very lucrative in future.

The starlet shone during a loan spell at Hamburg last term, and displayed the kind of form that had Tottenham fans crying out for him to be involved this season.

He has since picked up where he left off at Brighton, and looks every bit the player who has been on the radar of both Bayern and Barcelona.

Brighton are already preparing to face interest in Vuskovic in the coming years, but they are perfectly comfortable in their ability to sell at the right time.

Ex-refs chief: Brighton backed to 'appeal' Pascal Struijk's red card vs Sunderland

Brighton get Pascal Struijk red card overturned

Former FIFA referee and ex-PGMOL chief Keith Hackett told Football Insider on Monday that Brighton have a reasonable chance of getting Pascal Struijk's red card from last weekend's win over Sunderland overturned

The centre-back was given his marching orders after dragging Wilson Isidor to the ground, but the Seagulls have now been successful in their appeal against the decision.

However, Hackett was adamant that Brighton goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen had a strong chance of beating Isidor to the loose ball.

The Seagulls' successful appeal now means that Struijk will be available for their derby clash with Crystal Palace on Sunday.
