Scott Brown believes Celtic are dominating the Scottish Premiership because the squad has a massive team spirit and the fans are completely behind them.
The Celtic skipper also believes players are performing because they want to retain their place in the side and Brendan Rodgers has plenty of options available in the squad.
Brown said the support of the fans had a great impact on results and the players are enjoying their football because of the success this season.
“Everyone in that dressing room is enjoying football and enjoying training. There’s competitiveness throughout the dressing room and I think that’s what is pushing us on,” said Brown, as quoted by the Daily Record.
“It’s a good place to be just now, there’s great spirit, the fans are behind us so that’s the main thing.”
Celtic currently hold a 14 point lead over Rangers in the Scottish Premiership, with a game in hand, and they could extend their lead with a victory against Hamilton on Saturday afternoon.
The Hoops have already collected silverware this season when they recorded a comfortable 3-0 victory against Aberdeen in the Betfred Cup final in November.
The Scottish giants also remain unbeaten throughout the 2016-17 season and many are tipping them to finish the campaign without suffering a single defeat.
It wont be easy though. Celtic have a busy festive schedule and the two Old Firm teams go head-to-head in a blockbuster clash on New Year’s Eve.
In other Celtic news, Rodgers should experiment in the Hoops’ best possible XI to face Hamilton.
