Campbell: Arsenal tipped to 'cash in' on Pepe after Sky Italy update
Arsenal will look to “cash in” on winger Nicolas Pepe, according to Kevin Campbell.
The former Gunners striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, insisted the 26-year-old isn’t showing the “consistency” required to succeed at the club.
According to Sky Italy (November 11th), Arsenal are targeting a January move for Juventus winger Dejan Kulusevski – a switch that will potentially impact the future of Ivory Coast international Pepe.
The ex-Lille winger has made seven Premier League appearances this term.
He has failed to contribute from the bench in the Gunners’ last three league games.
Pepe has netted 25 goals in 98 games across all competitions for Arsenal since joining in 2019.

When asked about a possible exit for the 26-year-old, Campbell told Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs: “This is a really tough season for Nicolas Pepe.
“He’s played a lot of games for Arsenal now – he’s done okay, but that consistency just hasn’t been there.
“When you’ve got two youngsters from the academy who are starting games and being more productive than you, putting in a better shift – then the writing’s on the wall for Pepe.
“The price tag was obviously inflated, and he will only have two seasons left on his contract after this one. If he doesn’t secure a first-team place, then I can see Arsenal cashing in.
“You don’t know what you’re going to get from Pepe in terms of goals, assists, and productivity. That’s why they will probably choose to move him on.”
Pepe joined Arsenal from Lille in 2019 for a reported £72million.
That fee represents a club-record outlay for the Gunners.
