Campbell: Liverpool will have rivals running scared after Coman update
Kevin Campbell has heaped praise on Kingsley Coman as Liverpool reportedly make contact over signing the Bayern Munich winger.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Arsenal and Everton striker said “it would be worrying for the rest of the Premier League” if the Reds completed a deal for the 25-year-old.
According to Germany publication Sport1, Liverpool have been in contact with the winger’s representatives regarding a potential summer move.
Manchester United are also said to be keeping an eye on the France international’s situation in Munich.
Coman has two years remaining on his contract at the Allianz Arena.
When asked by Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs if Coman was needed at Anfield, Campbell said:

“Liverpool have had very good players in Shaqiri and the Origi but they want somebody in who can real do something.
“They need somebody who can really change a game and Coman has proven he can do that. He is a brilliant player and he can hurt teams.
“Yes, he is another wide-forward but he is different to what they have got at the moment. Coman drives at teams. He is hungry to run in behind and hurt teams.
“If that deal was to happen, wow, it would be worrying for the rest of the Premier League.”
Bayern Munich signed Coman for £19million from Juventus in July 2017.
He has contributed 41 goals and 50 assists in 200 games for the Bundesliga giants.
