Campbell tips Diangana to dazzle for West Brom in new season as pictures emerge

Kevin Campbell has tipped Grady Diangana to shine for West Brom in the upcoming season under the management of Valerien Ismael.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Albion and Arsenal forward heaped praise on the 23-year-old and claimed he “possesses an immense amount of quality”.

Diangana struggled to recreate the form which earned him an £18million move to The Hawthorns in the 2020-21 campaign.

He started just twice under previous manager Sam Allardyce but looks set to be handed a major role by new boss Valerien Ismael.

As shown on West Brom’s Twitter, the winger has played a big part in pre-season preparations and starred in a goalless draw with Watford on Saturday.

When asked if he expected to see a revitalised Diangana next season, Campbell told Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs:

“I expect we will see Diangana back to his best this season, without a shadow of a doubt.

“I know he struggled somewhat in the Premier League last season but he possesses an immense amount of quality.

“West Brom are going to dominate games next season and that means he is going to get a lot of the ball. His level is going to be very high.

“He didn’t finish the Premier League season badly so I expect him to carry that on.

“Let’s be honest, Diangana is a player who has proved himself at Championship level. I think he is going to be such a threat in that division.”
