Campbell wowed by Ismael's reported plans for breakthrough West Brom trio
Kevin Campbell has hailed the decision to integrate a trio of youngsters into the first team at West Brom.
The former Baggies striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, reacted to Valerien Ismael’s reported plans.
On 23 July, The Athletic reported Ethan Ingram, Taylor Gardner-Hickman, and Quevin Castro are set for first-team roles this season.
Ingram, 18, and Castro and Gardner-Hickman, 19, have not made competitive appearances for West Brom.
Castro only arrived this summer and has made waves by claiming he will be one of the world’s best players.
He is quoted by The Athletic as describing The Hawthorns as a “stepping stone” after joining the club.

Campbell insists the integration of this young trio is not only great for the club but great for the fans ahead of what could be a tricky season.
When asked if the introduction of these youngsters was a good move by the club, Campbell told Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs, “Oh yeah, big time.
“The manager is really good with youth and he wants to develop them.
“Obviously they have talent where he’s looked at them and gone ‘I can use these boys’.
“It’s brilliant for the club and fantastic for the supporters to see these young boys coming through.”
Albion are looking for an immediate return to the top flight after suffering relegation under Sam Allardyce last season.
The signings of Adam Reach and Alex Mowatt have already bolstered Ismael’s squad though mercurial attacker Matheus Pereira is expected to leave.
