'Strachan has lost it' - Celtic fans rage as in-form attacker is omitted from Scotland squad
By Danny Wright
Celtic fans have been left scratching their heads after Callum McGregor once again failed to make it into Gordon Strachan’s Scotland squad for upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Slovakia and Slovenia.
McGregor, 24, has been in great form for the Hoops this season, scoring four goals and supplying three assists in 12 appearances across all competitions even though a good portion of his game time has come from the bench.
However although Brendan Rodgers was impressed enough to give the attacking midfielder a new contract recently, Strachan appears to not share that view with him omitted from a squad which contains six other Celtic players.
The Scottish FA announced the team on their official Twitter account on Monday morning.

Surely at minimum, Callum McGregor would be a better shout to come off the bench and make a difference than most in that squad.

McGregor has made a lot of progress in recent seasons and whenever he takes to the pitch for Celtic, he rarely disappoints.
The Scottish attacker has never earned a senior international cap but was ever-present in the youth sides, making appearances at six different levels.
In other Celtic news, Chris Sutton believes that no Hoops player comes close to this star man.
