Celtic fans react on Twitter to Joey Barton bust up at Rangers
By Dominic Toner
Joey Barton has been involved in a blazing training ground row on Thursday – and the Celtic fans have been quick to mock the Rangers midfielder on Twitter.
The Scottish Sun claim the 34-year-old has been “banished” from the club’s Murray Park training headquarters and won’t feature against Ross County on Saturday.
The report details that Barton was involved in a verbal exchange with team-mate Andy Halliday during training and it is the third incident he has been involved in since he moved to Ibrox in the summer.
Celtic fans enjoyed a remarkable Old Firm win over their rivals last Saturday and cruised to a 5-1 victory at home.
The club’s supporters couldn’t resist giving Barton some stick on Twitter after his latest bust up.

Celtic captain Scott Brown engaged in a string of disputes with Barton before the Old Firm clash, but the midfield pair finally settled their differences on the pitch.
Celtic extended their lead over Rangers to four points in the league, having also played one game fewer.
The reigning Scottish champions will not turn their attention to Inverness in the league and will hope to stretch their two point advantage over Hearts in second place.
Brendan Rodgers’ side did suffer a disappointing setback against Barcelona in mid-week, losing 7-0 at Camp Nou as they struggled on their return to the Champions League.
In other Celtic news, the club’s fans have reacted on Twitter to Saidy Janko’s performance against Wolves.
