'What a nugget' - Celtic fans are loving what this Rangers supremo just said about Glasgow clubs

Rangers director Alastair Johnston has delivered his verdict on recent events at the club and insists that the Gers are “ahead of the curve,” in The Scottish Sun.

Fans of their fierce rivals, Celtic, are loving the Light Blues supremo’s comments and have taken to social media to rip them apart.

The Hoops faithful have been revelling in the misery of their opponents across the city who are in the midst of a crisis brought upon on the back of two defeats against Brendan Rodgers’ side.

Tensions were already rising at Ibrox before the weekend’s defeat but the 4-0 thumping in the Scottish Cup on Sunday saw the Light Blues misery spiral.

A dressing room bust-up involving Lee Wallace and Kenny Miller saw the two suspended from the club in the aftermath.

But Celtic fans took the opportunity to comment on their rivals financial past and current instability to destroy opposition supporters.

The Hoops are looking to emulate the Gers nine-in-a-row years which ended in 1998 when Celtic stopped them from the winning the tenth.

There are concerns from Light Blues supporters that this will now not only be caught but beaten resoundingly as Rodgers’ side continues to dominate the Scottish Premiership.

But Celtic fans are loving the problems they are seeing as it would seem the Gers have gone into self-destruct mode.
