Moussa Dembele has revealed his delight on Twitter after scoring a brace to help his side secure a priceless draw against Manchester City in the Champions League.

The Scottish giants took the lead three times against Pep Guardiola’s side, only to be pegged back as the Group C rivals drew 3-3 on Wednesday night.

French wonderkid Dembele got Brendan Rodgers’ side off to a flying start by scoring Celtic’s first goal inside just three minutes, and declared on his personal Twitter account that it was “an experience I will never forget.”

The 20-year-old was in exceptional form in front of almost 58,000 fans at Celtic Park, as he scored his 11th and 12th goals of the season in all competitions.

A well worked free kick caught City out, as James Forrest’s well-timed run was bundled home by the former Fulham striker to open the scoring.

Dembele then emphatically doubled his tally by converting Kieran Tierney’s cross with a wonderfully placed overhead kick to put the 47-time Scottish Champions up 3-2.

However, a win wasn’t to be as the likes of Raheem Sterling, Nolito and Sergio Aguero inspired City’s comeback. New signing Nolito scored City’s third just before the hour mark and the score remained at 3-3.

The Hoops are likely to feel that the result was somewhat of a missed opportunity after taking the lead on three separate occasions, but no one can deny their work ethic or spirit to secure a vital point against all the odds.
