Celtic’s on-loan striker Odsonne Edouard has been named in a list of the top 100 teenage players in the world.
The 19 year old, who was signed from PSG in the summer, has been ranked in 91st place on the list in FourFourTwo magazine.
In a report on FourFourTwo’s website, the 19 year old has been described as
“A tall, burly striker…produced some sterling performances for PSG in the UEFA Youth League as they reached the final in 2016.
“This term he could become a key player for Celtic, and found the net on his Scottish Premiership debut. (against Hamilton in a 4-1 victory).”
Edouard was signed on the last day of the transfer window from the French Champions, and an option to buy the player at the end of the season has been included in the deal.
After scoring on his debut the young Frenchman has found it difficult to break into the side, and is currently being kept out of the team by Leigh Griffiths and Moussa Dembele.
His last appearance in the Hoops came back in September in the 4-0 win over Dundee in the Betfred Cup quarter-final.
He failed to make the squad for the weekend’s 4-0 win over St Johnstone but with Celtic set to play nine games in December the squad will be used to the fullest and he may well be involved again.
