Celtic may be forced into massive summer decision as contract stalemate reportedly continues
Unless his contract dispute is sorted very soon, it looks as if Celtic fans will need to get used to life without mercurial midfielder Tom Rogic.
The 25-year-old has yet to agree on a new deal with the Hoops, and as the Scottish Sun reports, he isn’t sure if he will stay with the Bhoys for another contract.
With his deal running out at the end of this season, Brendan Rodgers and the Hoops board could be forced into an unfortunate decision about the Australian international, and move him on if no new deal is agreed.
Despite how good a player the midfielder is – and at times he can be almost unplayable – the club comes first, and they can’t allow Rogic the chance to run down his contract and leave on a free if no new deal is agreed.
If he does leave in the summer, it would be a big blow to Hoops fans, as Rogic has that extra touch of class that most players in Scotland lack, and he has the ability to come up with big goals as well, such as last season’s Scottish Cup Final winner and three against Rangers this season.

Time will tell on Rogic’s future, but time is starting to run out on a new deal, and it looks increasingly likely that unless something changes soon Rogic may well be playing for a different team next season.
