Why Celtic must sign this PL attacker to replace Roberts

Celtic could be facing a tough job to try and land Patrick Roberts this summer after his 18-month loan spell from Manchester City came to an end.
If Brendan Rodgers doesn’t manage to land the ex-Fulham man, he must instead pursue Manchester United’s Adnan Januzaj, who is now up for sale, according to a report.
ESPN claims that the Premier League attacker, who has spent the last season on loan at Sunderland, has been made available for sale this summer for anywhere between £8million and £12million.
He might not have had the best season with the Black Cats, who finished bottom of the league and ultimately suffered relegation, but he could definitely do a job north of the border with a fluid team like Celtic.
Januzaj proved in his early days at United that he has some raw talent that is waiting to be unleashed.

A move to the Stadium of Light simply wasn’t what was necessary of a player with his skill set – he needs to be in teams that can control the ball and dominate possession.
Rodgers’ Celtic do all of those things week in and week out, which is why Scott Sinclair enjoyed such a surprisingly good first season at Parkhead.
The Englishman struggled with Manchester City before suffering more woes with West Brom and Aston Villa, where he too suffered relegation.
At least with six-times Belgian international Januzaj the Bhoys can have a player who has at least already performed well for a top English team.
The 22-year-old has a good amount of experience in top level football with 75 Premier League appearances to go with a bit of game time in the Bundesliga during a loan spell at Borussia Dortmund.
Not many clubs may want to snap up Januzaj after his season-long stay at Sunderland meaning that United could potentially lower his asking price.
Players like Roberts certainly don’t grow on trees, but Januzaj would definitely make a decent replacement.
