Brendan Rodgers has ruled himself out of the running for the vacant England manager's job - and it's not just Celtic fans who are delighted.

The Hoops boss has yet to take charge of his first game as manager, but has been linked with the England post since the departure of Roy Hodgson.

Rodgers was named Celtic manager earlier this summer and laughed off suggestions he could decide to ditch Parkhead if the FA come knocking.

It's good news for worried Celtic supporters, but also seems to be music to the ears of many of the England fans waiting to hear who will clean up the Three Lions mess.

Rodgers is currently in Slovenia with his side on their pre-season tour with the Hoops in line to face NK Celje on Thursday.

The former Liverpool manager is well known for his gift if the gab and has used one word so much during his managerial career that it has become a kind of buzz word.

A buzz word fans love to tease the Celtic boss about and the news he was not interested in the England post prompted one Twitter user to break out the old reliable.
