Celtic next manager: Roberto Martinez odds tumble as Hoops advised to complete deal
Celtic are on the hunt for their next manager, with Martin O’Neill set to depart in the summer.
It is key that the Hoops get the next appointment right as Rangers and Hearts continue to improve.
One manager who has been continuously linked since Wilfried Nancy’s sacking in January is Roberto Martinez.
Now, one UK bookmaker has placed a summer move to Celtic Park at 6/1, with Oddschecker on 29 April confirming his odds have been slashed.
As a result, the club could be closing in on an impressive appointment ahead of the new season.

VISIT THE MANAGER HUBRoberto Martinez to Celtic rumours refuse to disperse
It has been months since Martinez was first linked with a move to the Old Firm club, and with the end of the season looming, he remains a big favourite.
The Portugal National Team manager is currently preparing for the 2026 World Cup, with his team seen as outsiders to lift the trophy.

However, his future after the tournament is not so certain, with the former Everton and Belgium manager linked with many positions in recent months.
With his stock having the potential to go even higher if he wins the World Cup, Celtic could face a massive task convincing Martinez.
Nevertheless, given that he has been linked for months, the Hoops will surely make an approach sooner or later, with the end of the campaign just five games away now for Celtic.
Keith Wyness: Celtic should hire Martinez
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, former Aberdeen chief executive Keith Wyness stated that Celtic should push the boat out to hire Martinez.
Fans have been furious with the board this season, and he believes that bringing in a big name like Martinez will help ease the tensions.
The 52-year-old no doubt boasts a fantastic CV, having won the FA Cup with Wigan Athletic and the UEFA Nations League with Portugal.
Martinez also guided Belgium to a third-place finish in the World Cup, although his time in charge of the Lowland Country was perhaps unimpressive.
Nevertheless, it remains to be seen if Celtic opt to appoint Martinez or if they will look elsewhere in the summer as they look to become the dominant team in Scotland once again.
